I wish to breath your joy, hear you laugh and hiss.
See your face, full of light, like a dream, cloudless,
Realized in a moment frozen.
To feel some way that we’ll never forget.
~
In this western rain, the future went and came again
Behind closed eyes, in thickened time, I feel you amidst. They think I’m insane.
Thin air to breathe, entrenched we dig.
Are we close? …Lead me to the ocean.
Unveil another sign.
They bring titanic peace to a rabid mind.
~
Travel north through the vast valleys, and find my forest bed.
A wish into forever, a dream within a thread.
Head is wrecked, the pain turns black
Heavy trains roll down a misty track.
I miss our family. Your mother wants you back.
Tears splash pride into springs unmatched.
We abide, confused, within a mask of song.
We all love you. From my infinite heart to the you beyond.
~
Do you hear me sing my secrets when I talk it through?
Do you ever want to answer when I’m asking what to do?
You are grace full. And I am alive.
Your presence is my strength.
Through death I will thrive.
~
Grateful for my family and for the loving faithful;
Separately working; we are the push, and the pull.
A great treasure of living is to honor the dead.
Our family, our friends, they will never end.
